On Wednesday 1 March, Sheffield Labour councillors proposed our budget amendment for Sheffield, which included proposals for £1.4million into a Neighbourhood Investment fund, exploring expanding the District Heating Network & hydro-electric power, more funding for Local Area Committees, and strengthing food access across the city.
This was our cost-of-living budget, to meet the cost-of-living crisis at the scale it demands.
