The Council’s Economic Development and Skills policy committee met for the first time on Monday 20th June.

As a member of the committee, Minesh made contributions to advocate for Sheffield to build a more democratic and more just local economy, pursue a community wealth building agenda and provide more support to local businesses, co-operatives and social enterprises.

He also called on the Council to collect better data about the state of the local economy, and for the Committee to keep a close watch on developments relating to the future of The Leadmill.
